Calkins Nature Area Rental Agreement
· $100 refundable deposit is required for food/damage insurance
· Full deposit must be made to reserve a room or amphitheater
· Areas rented should be left clean and picked up, or deposited money will be forfeited
· Tables and chairs and equipment must be set up and taken down by renters
· Parking of any size group is limited to parking lot
· No access is allowed to lower level of the Nature Center
· Some dinnerware, utensils, and coffee pots are available, however, renters must supply all food and beverage
· No alcohol is permitted in the nature area, center or amphitheater
· Trash must be taken out to the dumpster at the end of the rental
· Tour of museums or nature are by advance notice only
· Gift Shop will be open with advance notice only
· Children and young adults must be supervised at all times
· Please keep noise at a minimum for public usage
· Management reserves the right to refuse service
Hardin County Campground Regulation
· Fees – with no exceptions:
$15.00 – Per night for electricity
$10.00 – Per night for primitive or tent
· 14-day camping limit
· Tent wishing to have electricity, will be charged the same as a camper
· Tents are charged individually – NO group rates with no more than 3 tents on a site.
· NO reserve sites
· Campsites are to be kept clean and neat.
· Doormats on grass should be taken up after 4 days so the grass is not killed out.
· Dumpsters are provided so no garbage or cans are to be burned in fire rings.
· NO keg beer is allowed in any Hardin County Park
· Only one camper per receptacle allowed.
· No extension cords.
· Camp fires are only allowed in the stationary fire rings provided.
· Park is closed at 10:30 PM except to overnight campers.
· Park is to be quiet from 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM
· One Tent free of charge will be allowed with an R.V. as long as occupants are 16 years old or younger.
· Dogs ON Leash Park Regulations: (Chapter 461A.45) will be strictly enforced - With NO exceptions.
· Noise Regulations (Section I (N) (Section 9) will be strictly enforced
· Possession of Beer Regulations (Section 21) will be strictly enforced.
· NO ILLEGAL FIREWORKS
· All other Park Regulations adopted by the Hardin County Conservation Board may be strictly enforced if necessary.
