Hardin County Conservation does have a truax drill that is available for rent by the public. Its purpose is to promote the restoration of native prairie wildlife habitat in Iowa.
Hardin County Residents: $30/acre ($100 minimum)
Outside of Hardin County: $30/acre ($100 minimum) + $100 out of county fee
Security Deposit: $200 (returned to renter if the drill is not damaged upon return)
