    Youth Ice Fishing Photo Contest Kids Fishing Photo Contest is going on until mid-February so get your children outdoors and on the ice for some great fishing. Photo submissions can be sent our nature center email address, Things to note: The fish must be caught between January 16 and February 20 of 2021 Only kids 15 years or younger can participate.     Socially Distanced Lunch and Learn: All About Otters Bring your lunch to the park, take a seat, and learn about some unique wildlife with Calkins’ Nature Area staff members. The first weekend we will be discussing the unique characteristics of otters, the habitats they call home, and why they are an important species for our aquatic ecosystems.
